<text>This fun stack reads (speaks) news for you! Just push button "Active open", relax and listen.. But first type your nntp host name into the field "name or dot address".by Seppo Kallio kallio@jyu.fiThis stack is from node jyu.fi (128.214.7.5) directory maclib/commwith name news-speak-13.sit.hqxThis stack gives a simple example and testbed for HyperCard TCP applications. It lets you establish a connection to a specified host. Then it displays everything received over the connection, and lets you send lines via the Send Line button. You can also check the current connection state. When you're done, you can Release the connection (just to be safe, since it's imperative that a release is done, the closeCard method also does a release). --Harry ChesleyYou need MacTCP and MacInTalk in the system folder.Modified from MacTCP ToolKit 1.0 stack for news reading by Seppo Kallio, University of Jyväskylä, Finland e-mail kallio@jyu.fiIncludes now also speak xcmd written by: Sak Wathanasin Network Analysis Ltd 178 Wainbody Ave South Coventry CV3 6BX UK Phone: +44 203 419996 E-mail: sw@network-analysis-ltd.co.uk</text>

<text> I even liked the episodes with the > Mudmen... (and that was especially corny) I love the old serials, but HATED the later film. But then doesn't everybody have a duty to hate ANYTHING done by Dino DiLaurentis. :) I'd like to see it Flash Gordon redone with a bit less camp, and a bit more script, and story quality, a la Raiders of the Lost Ark. A new WELL done Buck Rogers wouldn't be a bad idea either. "Well whose opinions did you THINK these were...." . </text>
